Have you ever been to another city or another country for business trips?
If so, how was your experience? Was it fun and interesting or was it tiring and boring? Going somewhere for work is not always just fun and interesting. You need to collect everything to prove your expenses and various documents for a business trip. If you can’t do it, you’ll have to pay for all the expenses by yourself. It sometimes happens a lot and unexpected things might happen easily.
Some big companies have a specific department, which takes care of all business trips or they have a contract with different companies to manage those trips. However, you have to take care of everything related to a business trip in smaller companies. When you do it yourself, mistakes are made often. Mistakes are made during a business trip regardless of the size of the company. As a result of interviews with some employees,
I found these problems below
Problems
- Unclear and confusing travel expense policies
- Illegible and unapproved receipts
- Inefficient claim processes
- Delayed employee reimbursement
- Employees need to pay all the expense from their pocket first
Product goals
- Employees can successfully manage their travel expenses through the app
- Give employees clear and detailed information about the company’s policies regarding expenses that are approved and how to claim them
- Minimize and simplify the reimbursement process

Solution
Designed the most accessible and usable mobile app for employees, and have planned to employ prepaid cards and mobile payment systems to make it easier to spend and manage from the company’s perspective.
The main goal of the app is to make it easy for users to spend money and get immediate feedback on their spending. From the company’s point of view, they can manage employee spending more clearly and receive immediate evidence of all expenses.
